About Alliston Out of the Cold

Walk with us Feb. 22, 2020, in our inaugural CNOY event!

Alliston Out of the Cold (AOTC) is in its 3rd operating season, run predominantly on volunteer man-power. Working collaboratively to address homelessness and food insecurity in New Tecumseth and the surrounding areas, AOTC provides safe, warm and welcoming overnight accommodations and meals, during the winter months; facilitating connection to further resources, services and community.

Our daily Community Dinner, served from 5:30pm - 7:30pm, is offered to anyone in need of a warm meal in the community, no questions asked. Men, women, youth and families - all are welcome!

Our emergency overnight shelter has 12 beds for individuals who have no alternative place to stay - to get out of the frigid winter temperatures and rest. We provide 3 meals per day and work to connect guests to community resources for housing, income supports, employment, addiction and mental health services and more!
