The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 22, 2025 - team up, fundraise, and walk with us!
Within eleven locations throughout the community, Caledon Community Services (CCS) helps shape the future of Caledon and is often a lifeline for our neighbours facing immediate and emerging challenges of food insecurity and poverty. The Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk is an event that helps us meet so many of those needs.
CCS assists local families children, youth and seniors with food and basic needs' supports, one-on-one care coordination, and connections to needed resources. We are also home to many other programs and services: accessible transportation, a Specialist Clinic, support for seniors, settlement services and language classes for newcomers, employment services for job seekers, paid youth training programs and retail thrift shopping destination that supports all of our programs. The breadth of our services makes for a package of supports for those struggling with food insecurity, homelessness and precarious housing.
We walk from Caledon East Community Complex!
