About St. Boniface Street Links

St. Boniface Street Links is pleased and excited to host the 2025 Coldest Night of the Year Event! By investing in St. Boniface Street Links, you are not just supporting Morberg House, but you are contributing to a holistic approach that transforms lives and delivers enduring benefits for our city.

Transformative Impact: The Value of Investment in SBSL Outcomes

SBSL Outcomes: Delivering Meaningful Change

Housing Success: In just 36 months (ending March 2024), 986 individuals have transitioned from encampments to stable housing.

Recovery Milestones: Of those housed, 15% have successfully completed recovery programs and are actively living substance-free.

Sustainable Solutions: On average, SBSL Outreach houses 2 individuals daily, with projections to exceed 600 placements by the end of the fiscal year on March 31, 2025.

Benefits: A Safer and Healthier Community

Life-Saving Impact: The housing-first approach has led to a significant reduction in the risk of overdose deaths among our clients.

Decreased Emergency Response: There has been a notable decline in emergency response calls to both Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), reflecting decreased crisis situations for those we’ve housed with supports.

Enhanced Community Safety: Our efforts have resulted in a substantial reduction in crime rates within our communities, contributing to a safer environment for all residents.

By investing in SBSL, you are not just supporting a program; you are contributing to a holistic approach that transforms lives and delivers enduring benefits to our city. We cannot sustain this vital work without your support. Please help us! Unfortunately, our programs do not currently qualify for funding through any existing government agreements. Your contribution is crucial to enabling us to continue our mission. Thank you for your support!
