The Challenge

Got a big-hearted business, workplace, group, church, or community? Step up and join the Challenge to compete for your local pride in support of CNOY. Check the National Challengeboard to see more!

About CMHA Vernon

At CMHA Vernon, we have built a community of support for individuals and their families living with mental health challenges, from youth programs to housing to education to employment to psychosocial rehabilitation. We help everyone in our community find the best type of care or service to match their need.

CMHA is dedicated to mental wellness, and housing stability is a key component of health. Adequate, suitable and affordable housing contributes to our physical and mental well-being. It leads to increased personal safety and helps decrease stress, leading to improved sleep and diet. All of these factors result in better mental health outcomes.

Funds from the 2024 CNOY will go to the North Okanagan Rent Bank, a homelessness prevention program that helps to provide housing stability for low to moderate income renters who are unable to pay rent or utilities due to an emergency that compromises their ability to pay.
