Event Day Details

Save the date - CNOY Day is February 26, 2022!

Self-organize your own local team and join us virtually on Saturday, February 26, 2022. Participants can walk in the comfort of their neighbourhoods. You get to choose what works best for you, your family, friends, and your comfort level! This is an excellent opportunity to have fun with your friends and family or build some team spirit with your coworkers while giving back to the community.

Toque Pick-Up Times

Walkers who raise $150+ (adults 18 and over) or $75 (children/youth 17 and under) will receive a CNOY toque as a thank you!

  • We invite all registered participants to pick up their CNOY goodie bag and CNOY toques from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm between Wednesday, February 16th to Friday, February 18th at CMHA Vernon. (3100 28th Avenue)

This is your own self-organized walk! Here are some key things you'll need to do on February 26 (or whatever day in February you decide to walk):

  • Gather with your covid-safe bubble (or on your own)
  • Map out a safe 2-5 km route
  • Let someone know where you are
  • Bring a cell phone in case of emergency
  • Share online as you go! #cnoy22 #cnoyvernon22
  • Keep fundraising (half of all fundraising happens in the last week!)
  • Be safe and have fun!

About CMHA Vernon

At CMHA Vernon, we have built a community of support for individuals and their families living with mental health challenges, from youth programs to housing to education to employment to psychosocial rehabilitation. We help everyone in our community find the best type of care or service to match their need.

CMHA is dedicated to mental wellness, and housing stability is a key component of health. Adequate, suitable and affordable housing contributes to our physical and mental well-being. It leads to increased personal safety and helps decrease stress, leading to improved sleep and diet. All of these factors result in better mental health outcomes. You can make mental health matter. There are many ways you can help CMHA promote mental wellness for all and support the resiliency and recovery of those experiencing mental illness. There is no health without mental health. Together we can build a resilient future, tackle the stigma that surrounds mental illness, and transform communities.
