It's cold out there. The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly walk that raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our community. Walk with us on February 22, 2020!

About ACAWS (Alberni Women's Services)

It’s cold out there but we are a community with a warm heart. This year, in partnership with the Port Alberni Port Authority, we will be dedicating our event to Gillian Trumper who made a huge difference in the lives of people in the Alberni Valley.

Gillian was Board Chair and a supporter of ACAWS for many years. She was our Mayor and MLA as well as an active community member. She will be missed.

We invite you to walk with us, in memory of Gillian and to support the homeless in Alberni Valley. Please wear a bright scarf in honour of a woman with a warm heart. Gillian would like that.

Please visit our website, facebook page, or call 250.724.7111 e221 to learn more about our services/
