About The Lighthouse Orillia

Walk with us!

The Lighthouse operates a 30,000 sq ft facility in two buildings. The emergency shelter serves 40 men, women, and a separate wing for Youth with 9 beds. Our Supportive Housing has 20 separate apartments individually occupied by single or couple experiencing chronic homelessness.

The Lighthouse is a beacon to our community! Families and individuals in the greater Orillia area go without proper food and shelter every day, for a variety of different reasons. At The Lighthouse, we offer meals and a shelter for all, as well as partnering with other organizations to provide support services such as mental health, addictions counselling, housing resources, and support for those in need.

Our community meal program will serve lunch to 102 people every day for anyone who needs a meal.
