About ICCS Nanaimo

Our Statement of Purpose is: To provide shelter and care for those in need, reflecting the love of God in loving one another.

We have been hands of care in the heart of the island since 1989 through Samaritan House, Nanaimo's only homeless shelter for women; Crescent House, Safe Harbour House and Hirst House (Parksville), which are crisis stabilization homes; and The Bridge which is supportive recovery homes.

Walk with us to show Nanaimo that we care about the homeless and those in crisis!

Island Crisis Care Society has been serving Nanaimo for 27 years with programs such as our Women's Emergency Shelter, our Crisis housing programs and most recently our outreach program which helps women find safe and secure housing and also supporting them afterwards to stay housed. The funds from this event directly helps to support these vital programs and the people we care for and support everyday.
