Save the date - Event Day is February 20, 2021!

The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly walk that raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our community.

Toque Pick-Up Times

Walkers who raise $150+ (adults 18 and over) or $75 (children/youth 17 and under) will receive a CNOY toque as a thank you!

  • Thursday, February 25, 3 - 5 pm (for any last minute entrants!)
  • Pick-up Location ICCS Head Office@ #3 - 1200 Princess Royal Ave. Nanaimo
  • Team captains should plan to pick up thank you bags for their whole team (though we cant see everyone in person his year, we wanted you all to have a little something to thank you for walking!) and toques for any team members who have raised over $150 ($75 for youths!)
  • Individual walkers who do not have a team, get in touch so we can make a plan! :-)

Have questions? Visit our FAQ section! or email eerickson@iccare.ca

Virtual CNOY Day

This is your own self-organized walk! Here are some key things you'll need to do on February 20 (or whatever day in February you decide to walk):

  • Gather with your covid-safe bubble (or on your own)
  • Map out a safe 2-5 km route
  • Let someone know where you are
  • Bring a cell phone in case of emergency
  • Share online as you go! #cnoy21
  • Keep fundraising (half of all fundraising happens in the last week!)
  • Take pictures so we can feel like we are there with you, and send them to cnoy@iccare.ca
  • Be safe and have fun!

About ICCS Nanaimo

Our Statement of Purpose is: To provide shelter and care for those in need.

Through housing and outreach programs operating in Nanaimo and Parksville, we help people in crisis stabilize and find the support, resources and services they need to recover and be well. Currently, we run 12 programs across 7 sites for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We also provide Outreach support and access to subsidized housing – all intended to support clients to move from crisis to security, independence and well-being.

Walk with us to show Nanaimo that we care about the homeless and those in crisis!
