About Armagh

Armagh has operated a transitional supportive housing facility for victims of gender-based violence since May 1991. Since that time, Armagh has provided service to women, with or without children, referred from emergency shelters in the Region of Peel, the Peel Children’s Aid Domestic Violence Team, and Peel Regional Police. Armagh is the only organization of its kind in the Region of Peel, serving a population of 1.5 million people.

Armagh is committed to continuing to provide affordable shelter for up to 2 years, assistance, and programming to this vulnerable segment of the Region’s population, empowering women and their children to lead independent lives free of violence.

Armagh provides women and their children with the best possible opportunity to overcome the devastating effects of abuse.

Join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 for the Coldest Night of the Year and together we can raise vital support and make a meaningful, positive impact in the lives of those most vulnerable in our community.
