About Helping Hands Society of Cochrane

Helping Hands Society of Cochrane and Area links people who help with people who need help. Our volunteers fill unmet human needs and strengthen community.

We enable faith based groups, community groups and local citizens to serve and connect with their neighbours through volunteerism, making Cochrane and area a vibrant, caring and supportive community.

We support those with illness or injury, low income, seniors, single parent families and newcomers to the community. As our community continues to grow, we are seeing these needs increase.

Our programs consist of Community Food Drives, Free Food Sheds, Meals to Your Freezer, Meal Teams, Volunteer Drivers, Movers with Heart, Caring Neighbours, Snow Helpers, Summer Do Crew, and Community Check In Program.

Our programs could not continue to help our vulnerable citizens with out our amazing volunteers and the generous support from our community!!
