The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Join us on February 25, 2023 - team up, fundraise, walk, and gather for good... because it’s cold out there.
122 – the number of youth that were kept from sleeping on the streets in 2021.
23 - the number of youth in our Transitional Program in 2021.
200 + - youth who wouldn’t have had support across Simcoe County without our Outreach Workers.
These youth; your children, your nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters, come to Youth Haven because they are at risk and need help. They want to be housed, finish school, find a job. They have hope that they can build a better life for themselves, they just need an opportunity and the skills to get there. They need to feel safe, have structure and allow themselves to relax, so that they can start to rebuild their lives. We ask you to walk and fundraise so you can experience a small portion of their journey for yourselves, bring our community together to take action to help support the health and hope of our young people, and so that we can offer more.
Join us on a 5km walk through downtown Barrie that passes by our Transitional House and Emergency Shelter locations!
Parking located in and around downtown Barrie, including the Library, TD parking garage and Barrie Courthouse.
