The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
Founded in 1978, Sources Community Resources Society (SOURCES) is a non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening social wellness and building resilient communities. We provide supports that help individuals and families meet basic needs, navigate complex systems, and regain stability during times of hardship. We serve communities across White Rock, Surrey, Delta, Langley, Vancouver Island, and Northern B.C.
In South Surrey and White Rock, our services include Food Bank, Homelessness Prevention Program, and Homeless Outreach Services, supporting people at every stage of need. Funds raised from Coldest Night of the Year help sustain these essential programs.
On February 28, our team will walk to raise awareness and funds that directly support people facing food insecurity, homelessness, and poverty, while connecting them to counselling, outreach, and other vital community services.
Walk twice for 5 KM
