About Neighbourhood Works

Please join us in our walk on February 25, 2023!

Neighbourhood Works has been providing solutions to at-risk youth and their families for 35+ years. Neighbourhood Works is a non-profit organization, located in St. Stephen, NB., that provides services for homeless and at-risk youth. We operate a residential home, and two sibling homes in two communities and are currently in the process of opening transitional housing youth program for ages 16-22.

Neighbourhood Works expanded its programming in 2022 to support the unsheltered adult population and those struggling with food inequities. We operate Community Kitchen open to everyone. The kitchen has provided 1500 meals per month to our community. In December 2022, we opened an out-of-the-cold warming centre for the unsheltered providing comfort, warmth, shower and laundry facility and breakfast.

Neighbourhood Works wants to make a positive difference in our community regardless of circumstance. Proceeds raised from your participation in the Coldest Night of the Year will go towards supporting solutions for homeless youth and adults, as well as the supporting our programming and Community Kitchen.
