The Salvation Army Powell River Ministries has a heart to serve this community we’ve been apart of since 1956. We provide meals to over 500 individuals each month at our Community Lunch. We also hand out fresh produce, bread and offer food bank services throughout the week. We lend support services to those living in poverty, homelessness, hunger, and addictions.
The money raised will support The Salvation Army food bank and help with day-to-day needs. Money will also go to provide supplies to equip our Community Response Van, so we can provide even more services to those in need, and to help our local first responders at large scale emergencies. A portion of the money raised will also go to support the opportunity to offer affordable housing in Powell River through The Salvation Army. We recognize the need in the community, and would like to be a part of the solution.
Join us February 24th, as we walk to end hunger and homelessness!
