The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
Island Crisis Care Society (ICCS) provides housing and wraparound supports for people across our community, walking alongside individuals as they work toward stability, connection, and living well. Our programs are built to respond to real lives, real goals, and the unique paths people take forward.
The Community Impact Fund is a key part of how we do this, and it is where Coldest Night of the Year donations are directed. This fund gives ICCS the flexibility to support people in the ways that make the most sense for them, at the time support is needed.
Because every situation is different, the Community Impact Fund can be used in many ways. It may support practical needs, life skills training, job readiness activities, cultural connections, or short-term assistance that removes barriers and creates momentum. This flexibility allows staff to tailor support to each person, rather than being limited by narrow funding categories.
Donations to the Community Impact Fund have a direct, local impact. They help build confidence, strengthen skills, create opportunities, and regain dignity for people to move forward on their own terms.
When you support the Community Impact Fund, you are helping ICCS respond with care, adaptability, and purpose, ensuring support is available in the ways that matter most.
Walk with us on Saturday, February 28th and help us to show the Oceanside communities that we care! Together we can make a difference!
