The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
United Way Perth-Huron’s North Perth Community Committee invites you to fundraise and walk with us to raise vital support for local individuals experiencing hurt, hunger and homelessness.
Your participation will make a real difference:
Walk to Support Immediate Needs
Help those facing sudden financial challenges stay housed through United Way’s Urgent Needs Fund, which provides emergency financial assistance when people need it most.
Walk to Support Mental Health
Your efforts fund counselling for families and individuals, early intervention for North Perth youth, and specialized support for children who have witnessed domestic violence.
Walk to Support Long-Term Housing Solutions
Together, we can work toward the long-term goal of creating more housing in North Perth through United Housing.
Every step you take helps people in our community find stability and stay housed—today and for the future.
Teams will assemble in 2026 at the Youth Unlimited building, and begin and end the walk from there - updated from previous year walk routes!
Loop the main part of the route (through the Main/Wallace intersection) twice to get 5km!
