The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 27, 2027 - together every winter!
Habitat for Humanity Greater Vancouver is a non-profit housing organization that mobilizes the community and welcomes partnerships to help build safe, secure, and affordable housing for working families in the low-to-middle income range. The barriers to affordable housing are growing exponentially, and, as one of dozens of Habitat affiliates in Canada, we are keenly focused as we work to address the urgent need.
Building throughout the Lower Mainland, and into the Fraser Valley, Habitat Greater Vancouver has a new home planned in North Vancouver and our largest project to date of 42-units coming in Coquitlam in 2024. Over the lifetime of our current Habitat homes more than 500 families and over 1,500 children will have their futures forever changed.
Habitat ReStores also play an integral role in helping to fund our builds and in keeping thousands of tonnes of usable products from going to landfills. Partnerships with organizations, individuals, companies and local government are the key to success.
Every ONE can help bring stability and hope to a family in need of a safe place to call home. Please join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 to walk and fundraise with us through the Coldest Night of the Year as we raise vital supports for those in need right here in our community.
