The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 22, 2025 - team up, fundraise, and walk with us!
Driven by a deep desire to see all people living with human dignity, we at Lionhearts invite everyone to join us in a safe, warm, and welcoming environment without any judgment.
Throughout the winter we provide hot food, warm clothes, hygiene supplies, and a place to get out of the cold. As much as these practical acts of love are imperative for survival, it really is about creating community and social connection year round.
Poverty knows no social boundaries and so we serve every demographic including senior citizens, families, single parents, children and people living with mental illness. We all need support at some point in our lives and some of us have greater challenges to overcome.
Join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 to walk and fundraise with us in the Coldest Night of the Year and together we can make a real impact for those most vulnerable in our community.
The 5km walk will start at Kingston Gospel Temple proceed to the Cataraqui Centre to see our friends at Starbucks for amazing refreshments before we walk back to Kingston Gospel Temple.
We'll be starting out at Kingston Gospel Temple and proceeding to the Futures Gate Starbucks where we will turn around to finish the walk back at Kingston Gospel Temple
