The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 28, 2026 - across the country, close to home!
United Way Oxford is raising funds to support the Ingersoll Light House, a 6-bedroom transitional housing program. The home provides safety and shelter with on-site support staff to help people achieve their goals. After their stay at the Ingersoll Light House, many residents transition into stable, affordable housing — breaking the cycle of homelessness in our community through a Housing First approach.
Every dollar raised stays right here in Ingersoll, directly strengthening the supports available at the Ingersoll Light House. Your efforts help open doors to safe home and wrap-around supports through the Light House where local residents can live with dignity, support and safety.
United Way Oxford invites you to create a team, walk with us and raise funds for our neighbours facing homelessness, hunger, and hardship. Let’s walk together — because it’s cold out there, and no one should face it alone.
