It's cold out there. The Coldest Night of the Year is a covid-safe, family-friendly walk to raise money for charities serving people experiencing homelessness, hurt, and hunger. Walk with us (virtually) on February 20, 2021 – there’s a place for everyone!

Community Sponsors

Hamilton Mountain (Neighbour 2 Neighbour) is super grateful for our fantastic 2021 sponsors! View all sponsors >

Event Day Details

Save the date - Event Day is February 20, 2021!

The Coldest Night of the Year is a family-friendly walk that raises money for charities serving hungry, homeless, and hurting people in our community.

Toque Pick-Up Times

Walkers who raise $150+ (adults 18 and over) or $75 (children/youth 17 and under) will receive a CNOY toque as a thank you!

  • Thursday, February 18, 4:30-6:30 pm
  • Friday, February 19, 4:00-6:00 pm
  • Saturday, February 20, 10:30 am - 12 noon
  • Pick-up Location: Neighbour to Neighbour - 28 Athens Street, Hamilton
  • Parking is available in front of building or on street
  • Team captains (or a designated person from a team) MAY choose to pick up for the whole team, only if they are comfortable doing so. That is not a requirement. If you are more comfortable with picking up only for yourself or your own household, that is the right choice for you.
  • We'll also be providing CNOY Day treat bags, so you can enjoy some post-walk refreshments. Special thanks to our Lead Sponsor Fortinos for providing these!

Still need a toque? Please contact Valerie Louter at:

vlouter@n2ncentre.com

Virtual CNOY Day

This is your own self-organized walk! Here are some key things you'll need to do on February 20 (or whatever day in February you decide to walk):

  • Gather with your covid-safe bubble (or on your own)
  • Map out a safe 2-5 km route
  • Let someone know where you are
  • Bring a cell phone in case of emergency
  • Share online as you go! #cnoy21 and #n2ncentre
  • Keep fundraising (half of all fundraising happens in the last week!)
  • Be safe and have fun!

About Neighbour 2 Neighbour

Walk with us February 20th in support of Neighbour to Neighbour.

At N2N, we understand and care about the many challenges that face families in our community today. Every day we work towards accomplishing our mission which is: to to lead our community to an improved quality of life.

Our programs and services address many of these challenges, at Neighbour to Neighbour and in many different schools on Hamilton Mountain.

We feed, educate, counsel, refer, and support.

We have a small team of staff and an amazing group of volunteers providing front-line service.
