Hosted by Helping Hands Street Mission

275Walkers28Teams25Volunteers0°C

The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk to raise money for local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Join us on February 25, 2023 - team up, fundraise, walk, and gather for good... because it’s cold out there.

We need you!

Join us! We need everyone to work together to care well for people who are hurting, hungry and homeless in our city. We're in this together.

About Helping Hands Street Mission

We invite you to join us as we live into our mission to reach out together, with love and respect, in Jesus' name. At Helping Hands Street Mission, our vision is that through friendship-based support we will seek opportunities for every person dealing with social, financial and spiritual poverty to develop relationships, share in resources and feel welcomed into God’s family.

When you walk with us through the Barton Street neighbourhood on February 25, 2023, you will have opportunity to share in the beauty and brokenness of the community we are a part of, and will witness the impact that your fundraising efforts will make to offer spaces of flourishing for each person that is part of the Helping Hands Street Mission community. There is much sadness on Barton Street, as people daily live with the difficult realities of financial, social and spiritual poverty, but there is also so much to celebrate, as the community pulls together to share relationship, resources, and hope.
