The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 22, 2025 - team up, fundraise, and walk with us!
The Brain Injury Association of Fort Erie is committed to empowering and maximizing the quality of life for individuals living with the effects of an acquired brain injury and their families through support, social activities, community and peer opportunities, advocacy, and information. We are committed to education, awareness, and prevention of brain injury in Fort Erie.
Our mission is to assist our clients with day-to-day living, by providing day programs to nurture socialization & prevent isolation & loneliness. We assist our clients with housing problems, often helping them find accommodations or dealing with legal or landlord tenant matters; medical issues, and documentation requests that are often quite complicated. We also help with daily basic necessities like offering hygienic supplies, groceries when necessary and medical assistance. Many of our clients live on the Ontario Disability Support Pension which is not adequate to meet basic needs. Without our help, many of our clients would be on the streets.
Join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 for the Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk and you too can play an integral role in supporting those most vulnerable right here in our community.
