Hope and Light Urban Outreach, serves the marginalized community in Cobourg, Ontario with love, compassion, and purpose.
Our 'Loaves of Love' food security program provides access to healthy meals. Our team provides & serves meals both in partnership with community agencies & through boots-on-the ground outreach each week. To meet the needs of as many as we can reach weekly within the community.
We have just launch a new initiative with one of our community partners, 'creating space' Art workshop drop in, we are excited for this new opportunity to connect in a different way within the marginalized community in Cobourg.
Building community partnerships is a key focus for Hope & Light as we come alongside to support. Recognizing the complexity of the needs of the street-affiliated population, we provide a consistent presence of care and support to help individuals move toward sustainable living and wellness. Serving and supporting those who need an open heart, a listening ear and a helping hand.
Also, Fostering relationships that create opportunities for both church and the larger community of Cobourg to love their neighbour. It is our desire to be a beacon of hope, serving this community with simple acts of kindness & care. Building trusted relationship that "change the tune!"
