Imagine being stuck outside with no warm place to sleep.
The Homelessness Society of the Bow Valley (HSBV) is a community-based organization that provides support to individuals who are without shelter in the Bow Valley.
We believe that anyone experiencing homelessness in the Bow Valley during the cold months should have access to safe accommodation and supports.
Our programs offer a low-barrier, inclusive, safe place to sleep for any individuals in the Bow Valley who do not have access to other accommodations, during the coldest nights of the year. The programs also connect guests to basic needs such as food, clothing, and community resources.
• A year-round local resource to connect individuals with services and support
• A shelter location that meets the needs of our community
• Sustainable funding to ensure the shelter doors are open all winter
