The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 22, 2025 - team up, fundraise, and walk with us!
Our Coldest Night of the Year (CNOY) fundraising event will raise funds for John Howard Society of Kingston & District's (JHSKD) Leeds & Grenville programming which includes services for homeless populations, youth, and justice-involved individuals.
Our vision:
To be a proactive leader in promoting safer and more resilient communities through innovative and inclusive services.
In 2023, JHSKD brought Connect Youth under the umbrella of services, allowing us to significantly increase our capacity to serve the communities in Leeds & Grenville.
Funds raised from CNOY assist with:
• Providing basic needs items (food, clothing, hygiene) to clients.
• Delivering life skills programming.
• Creating and maintaining collaborative services in our community.
• Offsetting programming expenses.
CNOY also assists us with raising awareness about the causes of homelessness, promoting community involvement/response, and bringing together local residents for a powerful, fun-filled evening.
Join us on Saturday, February 22nd, 2025 for the Coldest Night of the Year fundraising walk and be part of making a meaningful impact on the lives of those most vulnerable right here in our community.
