The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly walk in support of local charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness. Join us on February 24, 2024 - team up, fundraise, walk, and take a moment to look closer... because it’s cold out there.
PLEASE NOTE
Due to the extreme weather conditions, this event has been cancelled.
Please scroll down to Event Day Details for more details.
It is with very sad hearts that we have made the difficult decision to cancel BOTH our walk and our indoor celebration. While we had hoped to proceed with an indoor Coldest Night of the Year gathering it has become clear that it would be irresponsible of us to ask you to be on the roads in the midst of this weather event.
While this is very disappointing, what is absolutely not disappointing is the incredible efforts you have all put into making this event a success, and for that we are so very grateful.
Together, across all three participating Souls Harbour locations, a grand total of 631 participants and sponsors have raised a total of $155,566. Wow!
These funds will help us bring hope to our neighbours experiencing hunger and homelessness. The heart you have shown for your community is a beautiful encouragement to us all. Thank-you. Thank you. Thank you.
We will be in touch very shortly with ways in which to collect your hard-earned, well-deserved toques as well as when and where cash and cheque donations for the walk can be submitted.
Stay safe, be at peace, and God bless you.
With gratitude,
,
Michelle Porter

2.5 km route. For 5km, we will be walking twice!
Join Souls Harbour for an extraordinary adventure this winter at the "Coldest Night of the Year" walkathon! When the temperatures drop and the city sleeps, our community needs its heroes the most. Embrace your inner superhero and be a force for good in the fight against housing insecurity.
Not all heroes wear capes, and you don't need superpowers to make a difference. By participating in our walkathon, you become a real-life hero, empowering those in need to find warmth, shelter, and hope. Your steps will light up the night, providing vital support for our neighbours facing housing challenges.
So, grab your winter gear, gather your friends and family, and let's walk together under the stars. Your participation can be the turning point for someone in need. Sign up now and be the hero our community deserves. Together, we can make a real impact, one step at a time.
