The Coldest Night of the Year is a winterrific family-friendly fundraising walk in support of local charities. Let’s change the tune for people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness... because it’s cold out there. Join us on February 22, 2025 - team up, fundraise, and walk with us!
Surrey Urban Mission Society (SUMS) is a faith-based, volunteer-driven organization serving Surrey’s Whalley neighborhood, one of Canada’s most economically challenged areas. Open seven days a week, we provide meals, seasonal shelter beds, and essential services in a safe, welcoming space. Through care and connection, we support individuals facing poverty and homelessness, offering hope and dignity.
This year, we’re excited to partner with Running on Faith Project for CNOY. Founded in 2022, this inspiring organization empowers individuals in temporary housing and recovery centers by promoting physical and mental well-being through walking and running programs. These initiatives foster health, confidence, and a sense of community. Together, we’re working to create a lasting impact.
By participating in CNOY, you’ll help us provide meals, shelter, and transformative programs to those in need. Join us to walk, fundraise, and bring hope to vulnerable neighbours in our community!
We will be starting and ending our walk behind our Surrey Welcome Hub building where our gates will be open and walkers will have access to our restrooms, seating areas, etc.
