St. Paul's Community
Airdrie P.O.W.E.R. is a non-profit organization that seeks to provide women in Airdrie and District with the means to leave an abusive environment through emergency resources, education and empowerment, thus creating a safe and sustainable community.
The Airdrie P.O.W.E.R. Day Shelter is a free, welcoming facility for women who are experiencing domestic abuse. We provide resources, connections, and a safe space for women and children to access the support they need. We are committed to providing an inclusive, low-barrier facility. Airdrie P.O.W.E.R. meets each woman where she is at, and by supportive listening, we create a personalized plan to help her achieve her goals.
Our hope is that the Coldest Night of the Year campaign will raise money to support the work of the day shelter, as well as spread the word that Airdrie is standing up for survivors of domestic violence and that they are not alone.
The 5 KM route is 2 laps of the mapped route.
